The Goddess knew not of the information she was bearing onto Remus. She only knew of the urgency with the information of Oracles death, and how she needed to inform Daneliya. Her icy eyes looked to him as he spoke. “It’s messy, and it’s a really, really long story. But oh my God . . . Nellie is going to flip. She . . . we already have a history with Beartooth . . .” She felt like there was a weight on her chest. “Good heavens, Nellie is going to absolutely lose it.” When he called for his sister, Artemis's head hung low.
She watched her emerge, sadness in her eyes as she knew this would surely break her heart. “Remus, what is it? Oh, Artemis, hello.” She gave a small nod, before Remus broke the news bluntly. “Daneliya, Oracle is dead.” Her eyes watched as Daneliya fainted, attempting to catch her into her side. She nudged her, trying to wake her. When she finally and ultimately would no matter how long the time would pass, Artemis would speak. "I am so sorry for your loss, Daneliya. But we have so much more information." She said softly. "He and Kelsea were brought to war with Hawthorne, and Oracle was slain by the Tarben Alpha - Someone named Beartooth?" She looked to Remus, a questioning look on her face to check that information.
"Beartooth would have gotten to Kelsea as well, but someone named Maverick saved her." She said in an even softer tone. "I've been told by Oracle that you were mated to this Maverick guy - He's soul tied to Kelsea now. And Oracle wishes for you to know that he believes they need each other, for you to not intrude. He asked me to tell you that he misses you, and that he's okay." She spoke softly, hoping to soothe Daneliya, though knowing this likely could cause an outburst. It was a lot of new information.
