is a problematic look when neither were one of the 3 primary assistant coaches. It is likely what ran Chester off since he hated the defense we ran and felt ignored, and now we’re hearing this stuff about players not liking Tyler on the offensive side.
As I said below, I think of a lot of the latter is just finding other reasons for leaving rather than just saying we got more money elsewhere. But it still feels like we need to clean some things up from a culture standpoint. Especially as a guy as young as he is, it’s just gonna be really hard for Tyler to avoid these issues unless he branches out on his own, even if I don’t believe that he’s the problem.

But Tyler’s role in the program

But we paid him a full salary to avoid burning bridges and that worked out about as well as expected. If he’s not behind this smear campaign on the way out it would be a pretty big coincidence.

I don't think Whitman is looking to nickel and dime Brad over a couple hundred grand a year. If Underwood really wanted to keep him, I think that'd have gotten done.

I’m not even saying he absolutely should have without knowing all the details, but so much of what’s going now is the byproduct of that. Including the TA wing of the program spreading the Tyler Underwood nepotism smear campaign all while TA is cashing paid in full paychecks from the university.
