Third party that certifies fair market value for NIL deals. The questions will be:
1. Will the third party be consistent and fair (unlikely if NCAA is involved) 2. Will it be enforceable (also seems unlikely given the recent legal history of all this) 3. If 1 and 2 actually happen, will it prevent teams from just going back to under the table deals (nope)

NIL deals now must go through a clearinghouse to assess if they are “fair market value”. And NIL deal are supposed to be actual NIL.
So a local car dealer can pay a kid $10k to appear in his commercial because that’s FMV. $300k and a new Range Rover? Nope.
